General conditions for renting a car from Tourent
Age Restrictions
Driving licence: A driver must hold a licence for at least one year.
Minimum age: 23 for groups A, C, E and 25 for all other car groups.
Maximum age: 75 for all car groups.
An international driving license required for renters from countries outside of the European Union.
Methods of Payment
After the confirmation of your request ,you should contact us urgently for a prepayment in order for your reservation to be valid.All major credit cards are accepted or by bank transfer.
Rental rates
The minimum rental charge is one day (24 hours). Additional one hour (0-59 minutes) is free of charge. For more than one an hour (60 minutes plus) an extra day is charged.
Rates include Unlimited Mileage, C.D.W. (Collision damage waiver with excess amount according to car group), T.P.(Theft Protection), Airport Service Charge, Local Taxes, VAT. Rates are exclusive of petrol and the renter must return the car us pick up.
Reservations: Can be confirmed only for a car group, not for a specific type of car.
Traffic Fines :
Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek traffic low during rental period are born solely by the renter.

Insurance Coverage :
Third Party Liability
All cars are provided with third party liability coverage. The insurance company covers the damage caused by our car to other people`s property, in case of physical injury or death.
Liability of the Renter
In case of damage to or loss of the Rented car or parts of it, as well as in case of fire, breakage or theft of glass, mirror, tyres ,rims and damages in car’s interior ,the renter or any additional authorized drivers are fully liable.
Driving off-road is prohibited .Any damage caused to the vehicle after driving outside asphalt is not covered by any insurance.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
The renter’s liability for damages to the Tourent vehicle can be reduced subject to Rental Agreement’s terms and conditions, to € 700 for gr. A, C € 900 for gr. E, G, L € 1500 for gr. F, H, K, M, V.
The renter must have a "traffic accident report" signed by a person at fault to be free of financial responsibility. CDW is included in the rental rates.
Theft Protection (TP)
In case of the eventual theft of a car or its components, the customer shall indemnify Tourent for all resulting damages.
TP is a service which lowers the renters responsibility for loss of the vehicle due to theft. The renter must return the stolen car’s key to Tourent. Attempted theft or vandalism (incl. parts and accessories)are not covered by T.P. and renters are fully liable to pay for any damage, following the conditions of our rental agreement. TP is included in the rental rates.
Collision Damage waiver and theft protection do not cover damages of the underside body of the vehicle, tyres and rims, theft of rim covers, radio-CD/USB players, vehicle license documents, keys and theft of any personal luggage.
Collision damage waiver and theft protection do not cover any damage or theft if the customer violates the conditions for use of the vehicle or shall have operated the vehicle in contradiction with the rental agreement and/or the legal provisions.
Super CDW (SCDW)
The Renter may reduce payment, by paying an additional daily fee of 15,00€ for all car groups.(SCDW) can be accepted only after acceptance of CDW (Collision Damage Waiver). Liability may in no case be restricted or cancelled in cases of partial theft, loss of parts, accessories, documents, damage to tyres, and any other part on the underside body of the vehicle.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Personal accident insurance is available at € 15,00 per day.
This insurance covers the driver`s and each passenger`s medical expenses up to € 2 000 and loss of life or total/partial permanent disablement by € 20 000 and € 10 000 respectively. Aggregate indemnity per accident limited to € 40 000.
Incident administration fee
In case of an incident due to the renter’s liability, the renter has the obligation to pay to Tourent a non-refundable fee of € 18 to cover the administration expenses.

Additional Charges:
Delivery / Collection Service
Round-the-clock delivery and collection of cars.
- free delivery within city limits with Tourent locations during working hours.
- For outside city limits the charge is € 0,75 per km.
- One way rentals are up on request and extra fees will apply.
Refuelling charge
Missing fuel is charged € 3,00 per litre plus € 15 refuelling charge.
Additional driver charge
First additional driver is free of charge.For more additional drivers the charge is € 5,00 per day / per driver.
BabySeat (0-18 kg)
Available for € 6,00 per day.
Child Seat (18 – 35 kg and maximum height 1.20m)
Available for € 6,00 per day.
After hours charge
For rentals after working hours of a location the charge is € 40,00.
